A demanding week in typical Portuguese conditions puts riders and teams to the test
High temperatures, dust and steep elevation changes across the Portuguese terrain defined the first week of racing in Fafe, presenting a true challenge for all competitors on track.
Max Ahlin proves himself a consistent and solid presence. From Friday evening’s Super Test, Max immediately showed his determination by posting the 4th fastest overall time. Across both race days, he finished 4th in the E2 category, coming within just 20 seconds of the podium on Sunday. Race after race, he continues to close the gap to the front-runners and confirms his steady progression.
A disrupted weekend for Samuele, but with a strong response. Saturday brought an early retirement after only two special tests due to an electrical issue on his 250 RX. On Sunday, however, the answer came through clearly: a 7th-place finish in the E1 category. Next weekend brings a brand-new event and a great opportunity to bounce back.
Valentino Corsi steps onto the podium in the Junior category. In the J1 class, Valentino delivered an impressive 3rd place on Sunday, setting seven top-three stage times across the nine special tests contested. An outstanding performance on rough and technically demanding terrain.
The same scenario awaits this weekend in Fafe, with three new special tests, fresh liaison sections and untouched loops. Conditions will once again be selective — and our riders are ready to respond.
