Third place in the Italian Championship 125 class for the young rider, who closes the season with 124 points
The 2026 Italian Enduro Championship season came to a close in Fabriano, in the Marche region, with rounds nine and ten of the Italian Championship, organized by Moto Club Artiglio. The 350-kilometer route featured three special tests (Xtreme Test, Cross Test and Enduro Test), in addition to Friday’s SuperTest.
Representing the KTM Pro Racing Team was Simone Cagnoni, competing in the 125 class on the KTM 125 2T and in the running for a final Championship podium. On Saturday, a retirement during the third lap, in the Enduro Test, cut short a day that had begun with one third and two fourth class-best times. On Sunday the rider bounced back with an improving performance, finishing fourth on the day with the class-best time in the final special test.
Cagnoni thus secured third place in the championship with 124 points, the result of consistency and numerous top-position finishes.
