A Hot and Demanding Weekend at Round 4 of the Assoluti d’Italia

Facing scorching temperatures and extremely dusty conditions, the fourth round of the Assoluti d’Italia in Pianello Val Tidone marked the return to racing of Samuele Bernardini, who with two second-place finishes in the 250 4-Stroke class is back among the front-runners of the Italian Championship, boosting his confidence ahead of the EnduroGP World Championship round in Saint-Agrève.

Thomas Oldrati, fresh off a second overall finish at the European Championship, once again proved his consistency in the Assoluti d’Italia 450 class: third on Saturday and second on Sunday, he closed out the weekend in second place overall — another podium for the team captain.

Max Ahlin delivered the team’s strongest performance of the weekend: fifth-fastest in the Super Test, third in the Stranieri category on Saturday, and on Sunday seventh overall and fifth among foreign riders. A very strong showing in tough summer conditions.

Valentino Corsi narrowly missed an overall podium: fourth on Saturday and third on Sunday in the Junior class, also posting a Top 10 overall time in Saturday’s Cross Test, once again showing off his speed.

Next up: the EnduroGP of France in Saint-Agrève, the sixth and penultimate round of the FIM EnduroGP World Championship.
