Cagnoni shines in Camaiore, strong debut for Youth World Champion Romain Dagna and a positive return for Gabin Allemand.
An excellent start to the season for Team KTM Pro Racing led by Alex Belometti in the first round of the Italian Absolute Enduro Championship, held on March 7–8 in Camaiore (LU).
The standout performer of the weekend was the young Simone Cagnoni, making his debut with the team and aboard the KTM 125 XC-W 2T, who secured two podium finishes in the 125 2T class: second place on Saturday and third on Sunday.
There were also positive signs from Romain Dagna, Youth World Champion, competing in his first race on the KTM 300 EXC 2T: sixth among foreign riders on Saturday and thirteenth overall on Sunday, with competitive times and a victory in one special test. A solid return as well for Gabin Allemand, who came back to racing after an injury and finished close to the top ten.
The next appointment for Team KTM Pro Racing will be the second round of the Italian Absolute Enduro Championship, scheduled for March 28–29 in Pomarance (PI). 🏁
