Double Portuguese round, double confirmation: the AIGNEP team brings home solid points in extreme conditions, between rocks, dust and scorching heat.
The same challenging recipe as the previous race was on the menu for this second consecutive event in Fafe: intense heat, rough rocky terrain, and dust everywhere. As always, the scenery was breathtaking, with wind turbines overlooking the rocky mountains.
Max Ahlin Proves His Consistency in E2
Ahlin delivered on expectations, finishing 4th on Saturday and 5th on Sunday in the E2 category. As consistent as ever, our Swedish rider found Sunday’s heavily worn special tests more demanding, but still delivered another strong performance. He now sits 9th overall in the EnduroGP standings.
Bernardini Forced to Sit Out
Samuele did not take part in this GP due to an acromioclavicular joint dislocation sustained during the Spanish GP, which was further aggravated during training sessions. The team decided to carry out more thorough medical investigations to determine the best recovery path. We wish him a speedy recovery.
Corsi on the Rise: 4th Place on Sunday in J1
Valentino secured 6th and 4th place finishes in the J1 category aboard his 250 RX. After making a few mistakes on Saturday, he bounced back strongly on Sunday with competitive times in both the Extreme Test and the Enduro Test. He currently holds 5th place in the standings, just one point behind 4th.
Next Stop: Pianello Val Tidone
After a well-deserved break, the team will head to Pianello Val Tidone in ten days’ time for the 4th round of the 2026 Assoluti Championship.
A huge thank you to all our partners, sponsors, staff members, and riders for their dedication, commitment, and support throughout the 2026 season. 💪🏁
