At Pianello Val Tidone for the penultimate round of the Italian Enduro Championship
The fourth round of the Italian Enduro Championship took place in Pianello Val Tidone (Piacenza), on a demanding and highly technical 55 km course, completed seven times and featuring an Enduro Test, Cross Test, Xtreme Test, and the Friday evening Super Test.
Representing KTM Pro Racing was Simone Cagnoni, the team’s sole rider competing in the Piacenza round. On Saturday, contact with a rock caused severe damage to his rear wheel, compromising his result. On Sunday, however, the Lombardy rider bounced back with a strong performance, finishing as the closest challenger to class leader Pietro Scardina.
The points scored leave Cagnoni third in the 125 2T standings with 111 points, with just one round remaining in the season.
Romain Dagna and Gabin Allemand were not in action, as they are preparing for their upcoming commitments in the French Championship and the French round of the EnduroGP World Championship.

Simone was a bit unlucky on Saturday, but on Sunday he matched the pace of Scardina, who is the benchmark in the class. Our focus now shifts to the final round, where we’ll aim to defend third place in the championship. The decision not to field Dagna and Allemand had already been planned, as three consecutive race weekends would have been too demanding.
